The first work in this volume is the translation of Primo viaggio intorno al globo terracqueo, based on the original text of the Ambrosian codex translated by James A. Robertson, reproduced with slight corrections.
The second work, De Moluccis Insulis, is the English version of A letter from Maximilianus Transylvanus to the Most Reverend Cardinal of Salzburg, translated by Henry Stevens, which appeared in Johann Schoner (London, 1888)
