Sewang merupakan sebuah seni persembahan yang menjadi kebanggaan masyarakat Orang Asli di Semenanjung Malaysia. Persembahan ini dikaitkan dengan pelbagai tujuan seperti perubatan, keraian dan kesyukuran menggabungkan unsur animisme, semangat dan pengaruh alam semesta. Lagu-lagu yang dimainkan, peranan halaq (bomoh), gerak tari dan persiapan bersewang memberikan gambaran mengenai budaya dan falsafah hidup Orang Asli. Sewang yang dipaparkan dalam dokumentari ini merujuk kepada masyarakat kaum Semai di Kampung Sungai Rensak, Tapah , Perak. |
